Service is always top notch. It can be a little loud. Good amount of seating and you aren't squeezed in. Wine selection has a great variety. I can't say enough about the food. I've been many times and have never had anything unappetizing. Plenty of parking out back Bathrooms: clean Environment: clean and well decorated Cost: $$$ Service: stellar Bar area: great selection
Went here for dinner and everything was AMAZING! The ambiance here is classy. I love how the menu is diverse in flavors. I literally have nothing negative to say about this place. We ordered a boat load of appetizers for the table of 10. My entree was the potato crusted fish (grouper) and the tuna skewers were my favorite. For my drink, I chose the French 613 which was a unique twist of the French75. I took a slice of cheesecake to go because why not. This place does a really good job at satisfying your taste buds while providing quality service. I am overly satisfied and cannot wait to return in the future. THANK YOU, Chef Frank Taylor and the rest of the Global Grill team!!
Eric the bartender is top notch- very nicely made drink but his expertise with the menu was great The oysters dish for 20 ish bucks was well worth it and the best item I had. The amberjack was cooked perfectly as well. Just a very solid place and the prices were very fair for the quality. Anyone looking for a low key nice place with great food and service should try out global
This is a fine dining restaurant without the formal dress requirement. The service was fast and impeccable. We were seated early. The wine and drink selections were good. Our waitstaff was very knowledgeable about the wines and menu items. The menu has something for every taste. The presentation of every dish enhanced the experience. The small plates are great to be able to try a variety of different dishes. The lobster wontons were excellent. Everyone loved the fried asparagus. The baby Brussels sprouts cooked with smoked bacon and a Gouda cheese sauce were amazing as were the pork medallions. The pork had a little spice. I had the chicken cordon bleu with broccoli and mashed Yukon potatoes - yum! Big plate so my husband finished it for me. One person had the duck. He said that it was exactly what he hoped it would be. The beef medallions were a big hit. The restaurant offers a "Triple threat" which is a fish fillet topped with a fried soft shell crab and then lump crabmeat. This is not in the menu and is enough for two. The only thing that caused a little hiccup was that the chocolate crème brûlée was actually vanilla. It was good just not what we expected. I would go back.
Hands down one of the best salads I've ever had, and I've had some good ones. EXCEPT the over salted it. It was a wild mushroom salad with white basalmic vinaigrette and truffle oil. I told my server and he had immediately brought a new salad, less salty but still, in my opinion, heavy handed on the saltiness. But not too bad. Other than that the salad was ridiculously good. I don't often rave about salads. I also got crab cakes. The were more breaded than I like. For a place as expensive as this and purporting to be fine dining, dont fill my crab cakes with a bunch of breadcrumbs. Should be called breadcrumb cakes with crab. Flavor was good, not remarkable. All told, for the price and, I won't say arrogance of the place; the aspirations of the place, I expected better.
Global Grill is an incredible restaurant. The food is amazing. The servers are the best in the industry and quickly become your friends. I love this place!
Great food, excellent service. Can get very loud but in a good way. Small exterior, but once inside it's quite expansive. Looking forward to our next visit.
First time at this restaurant ... I've passed it on several occasions downtown. I'm glad my friend had her birthday dinner here because the food was really good. We ordered tapas to share ... the variety was fabulous. The waitress was friendly and the food came out fairly quick but we there when the place was not full yet. By the end of dinner the place was packed. Pricey dinner in a small quiet environment. Great to experience and try but not sure if I will be revisiting.
Where do I start. This was a splurge and so glad we did. We had a couple of the specials, drinks, appetizer, and dessert. My husband and I were with another couple and had to extend our 3 hour parking another hour because the time just went so fast. I say that because we didn't feel rushed one bit. They weren't trying to get us in, ordered, and out. Fried asparagus was great and the maple syrup sauce was so different and good. My husband normally doesn't get anything on his steak but he went with it and was pleased with the sauce on top. My Mediterranean red snapper and pasta was perfect. Ended the night with creme brûlée yum!
